LA PEYRIERE. Provence villa with pool, massive stone walls and large windows with blue shutters. This typical Vaucluse holiday house has a large pool. It's surrounded by flowering shrubs. Plus it has central heating (also electrical heaters) and full modern appliances. It's on a plateau on the foothills of Mt. Ventoux.

The 2-acre property is fenced, and large enough for strolls. It's out in the countryside, the stone house shaded by huge old oaks and pines.

Just outside the property of this Provence villa with pool are vineyards and olive groves and tempting country roads. Thirty minutes away is Avignon, with its bridge, its ruins, its festivals, its miles of shops and restaurants. Closer by, just 5 minutes away, are 2 charming towns (Carpentras and Mazan) with restaurants, shopping, street markets.

Mt. Ventoux can be seen from La Peyriere, and the peak - with its breathtaking view over hundreds of kilometers - can be reached easily. It's only 26 km away from this holiday home away form home, and the drive goes through a series of scenic little villages. The kitchen is made from an antique Provence buffet – plus it has a complete stove (4 burners), microwave, toaster over, coffeemaker, fridge, and washing machine. Closet plus beautiful antique armoire for lots of storage. Large French doors with 3 panels for a great view onto the terrace and Mont Ventoux. Terrace with patio table, lawn chairs and BBQ. Comforts include TV plus DVD player, central heating, and AIR CONDITIONING.

The couch is an antique single bed with loads of cushions (and with another single bed underneath). The large French doors look onto lavender and then the wooded property. Modern comforts: kitchen with full stove, microwave-convection, coffeemaker, kettle, fridge; washing machine; central heating; TV, DVD player, and CD player. Large terrace on its own side of the house, with patio table, deck chairs and BBQ.
