LES HAUTS. A place to get away from it all, and to come more completely into oneself. A place where you can draw inspiration from the landscape and the atmosphere.

You sees far. The lines curve. Nature.

You can walk and think, let the world around sink in, maybe find new inspiration. Or it may be a great place to work on ongoing projects.

It's a place for yourself.

Yet you stay connected, as connected as you choose to be to the rest of the world

LES HAUTS. Sky, hills, slopes, forests, space. Plus, there is satellite television and wireless internet.

What is it like.

Quiet and private. You have your own entrance, to a part of a renovated old farmhouse.

There's a closet in the entrance way.

Then there's the living space - small, cozy, charming with lots of woodwork. There's a trundle bed (a day bed with another bed below). There's also a dining table with an amazing view.

The kitchenette is complete, with a full stove,
under-the-counter fridge, microwave, dishes, and more.

In the bedroom, there is a queen size bed which looks out to a large field.

The bathroom has a shower.

To work, there are options. You can stay in the unit. There's also a large studio space in the house. For that, please email. Plus, in summer you may want to drive around this breathtaking area, and work in many different places.

No smoking. Pets welcome.

Included:

Fully equipped kitchenette: stove, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, dishes, pots and pans.

Satellite TV. Wireless internet.

Sheets and towels.

Lawn chairs and benches. A small hibachi. A wooden patio table and chairs.

There is also a fire ring. Great for a marshmallow roast.

Winter activities: alpine skiing and downhill skiing at Orford; cross country skiing right outside the door; skating.

Summer activities: 3 km to Lake Lyster. Swimming, boating, canoeing.
